Swim with seals in Plettenberg Bay!

Meet at the office, at Central beach 30 minutes before departure, where OffShore Adventures takes care of all the nitty gritty paperwork and supplies you with all the equipment needed. Step aboard “Robberg Express” for an exciting beach launch and make your way towards the Robberg Nature Reserve and Marine Protected Area, home to approximately 6000 Cape Fur Seals.

Here you hop into the water, accompanied by a qualified divemaster, to enjoy 30 minutes of amazing animal interaction among bundles of playful inquisitive fur seals. The ultimate wild animal encounter in their natural environment, without having to alter their behaviour.

What we loved:

• A truly authentic experience.  No cages, no bait, no interference.  We were simply part of a joyous frenzy of cavorting seals.
• The guides were professional and the equipment was in top condition.
• The short boat ride to Robberg was exhilarating and the skipper was happy to stop en route for us to look at dolphins and a large male seal enjoying his catch of the day.
